摘要
•Nanohybrids synthesized of In2O3 and PPy as a result of chemical linking.•The nanohybrids that are useful in a variety of application sites for the photocatalytic degradation of MB and electrochemical detection of the drug mebendazole.•These major results confirmed the potential uses of In2O3-PPy nanohybrids as electrode and photocatalyst materials.•A maximum efficiency of 97.3% is shown by In2O3-PPy in the photocatalytic degradation of MB and over period of 30 min.
