Saint eulalia's inventio and translatio: a study on the martyr inscriptions at barcelona cathedral

In this article I analyze two medieval inscriptions on the relics and cult of saint Eulalia of Barcelona. Both inscriptions, dated from the IX and XIV centuries, are located in the cript of Barcelona Cathedral, and they relate the inventio and translatio of the martyr's rests. The aim of my paper is to examine the function of each inscription, focusing on its graphic particularities.
