Abstract
The Doppler effect caused by fast movement is extremely harmful to wireless communications in high-mobility scenarios. The amount of Doppler shift is frequency dependent, while most of the research on Doppler effect only consider adding a Doppler frequency shift to the overall signal, which is unsuitable for high-mobility wideband signal where spectral spread exists. Therefore, this paper proposes a Doppler channel modeling method designed for the high-mobility wideband signal. Through this model, the frequency shift of different frequency components and the spectral spread of the wideband signal can be presented accurately. Moreover, the Doppler-introduced inter-carrier interference (ICI) and signal to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) loss of OFDM system are also analyzed. In the end, the channel modeling methods and SINR loss analysis are verified by simulation results.
