Research on the transition mode from an existing distribution network to a low redundancy grid

The long-term planning of the distribution network according to the peak power load and the development mode of relying on redundant configuration to improve reliability have led to the overall low efficiency level of the current distribution network. On the other hand, due to the large power of the new power load and the characteristics of randomness and seasonality, the interaction between the distribution network and the new power load is relatively weak, which leads to the insufficient ability of the distribution network to adapt to the new power load access. Firstly, the development of decarbonized load and distributed power supply is studied in this paper, and the characteristics of typical decarbonized load are pointed out. Secondly, the definition of redundancy index of distribution network is studied, and two new physical grid structures of distribution network with low redundancy characteristics and the transition mode from stock grid to new architecture are proposed. Thirdly, the redundancy of stock grid structure and new grid structure is calculated and analyzed. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed low redundancy architecture is verified by typical cases.
