Research on Flux-Weakening Strategy of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor based on Overmodulation Region II Voltage Harmonic Optimization

An improved voltage weak magnetic spread control strategy for permanent magnet synchronous motor in high-speed operation is proposed. The control mode combines voltage weak magnetic field control and space vector pulse width overmodulation. Motors for various high-speed operation. When the field weakening control and the overmodulation control strategy work together, there may be a large harmonic error between the reference voltage and the actual voltage flowing into the motor. This affects the efficiency of the inverter and motor. In this paper, the problems that may be caused by voltage harmonics are analyzed by theoretical methods and simulation methods, and an improved voltage weakening control method is proposed to solve these problems.The advantage of this method is that the error between the voltage reference value and the voltage applied to the motor can be minimized and the target speed can be achieved with minimal current. Aiming at the problem of voltage harmonics content in overmodulated region 2, an optimal control of space voltage vector Angle in overmodulated region 2 based on dung beetle optimization algorithm was proposed. The effect of the improved voltage-based magnetic weakening control method is verified by simulation. The results show that the harmonic content of overmodulation in the second region is significantly reduced compared with the traditional method.
