摘要
•Resection of segment 1 (S1) is a technically challenging surgical procedure.•Few reports exist about the safety of robotic liver resection of S1.•Intraoperative visualization of 3D-Rendering and ICG-fluorescence can help to identify anatomical landmarks and structures.•A robotic liver resection can be safely and successfully performed for lesions located in S1, in selected cases.
