Abstract
Based on the inertia support and prime frequency regulation capability of new energy station, this article builds the average frequency responsive model of the power system composed of synchronous generators and new energy stations. The main control parameters of new energy station are proposed and analyzed to make sure the system is stable. Through simulation and analysis, it can be seen that the timing and degree of participation of the new energy station in the primary frequency regulation could be designed in accordance with the dead zone. Additionally, the primary frequency modulation time constant value determines the frequency modulation speed and eliminates the power oscillation at the dead zone boundary. Finally, by combining several sets of parameters, the desired primary frequency regulation performance and timing can be achieved.
