Anomaly detection and resolution are crucial in edge clouds to ensure that distributed systems operate reliably and securely. This survey presents a comprehensive overview of anomaly detection and resolution strategies specifically designed for edge cloud environments, exploring their strengths, limitations, and applicability in different scenarios. It explores the unique challenges and characteristics of edge cloud systems, providing an in-depth analysis of existing works and tools.
