Abstract
This paper presents an analysis and optimization of power generation structure of large city in the context of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals. A capacity expansion planning model is introduced, and a 8760h time-series simulation is conducted under six different scenarios. The simulation results offer insights into the optimal power generation structure for a large city in 2030 and 2060. The findings highlight that not only the local renewable energy, but also the imported electricity, energy storage, V2G, and DSM are crucial measures to achieve the carbon neutrality target in 2060.
