A Study on Food Classification and its Significance in Promoting Tourism and Boosting the Economy

The variety of Indian cuisine is examined in this study along with its potential to advance tourism and the local economy. The study focuses on food classification and how it influences how foreigners perceive and comprehend Indian cuisine. A novel hybrid model called VCAP has been proposed that combines elements of VGG-16 and the capsule network (CapsNet). Information was gathered from cuisine specialists, visitors, and restaurant owners using a qualitative study methodology. The proposed method produces a classification accuracy of 97.74 percent. The results demonstrate that food classification is important for encouraging tourism and the growing economy since it allows visitors to learn about and experience India's diverse regional cuisines. The study emphasizes the value of developing and maintaining Indian cuisine's diversity, which is an essential component of the nation's cultural history.
