Characterization of the plasmids harbouring the florfenicol resistance gene floR in Glaesserella parasuis and Actinobacillus indolicus

•One A. indolicus and six G. parasuis were identified as positive for the floR gene.•Most of floR genes from A. indolicus and G. parasuis are located on the small plasmids.•All the plasmids carrying floR gene from G. parasuis could be divided into two different types.•The floR module of plasmids from G. parauis could be transferred among the Pasteurellaece bacteria.
