MoS 2 /WS 2 quantum dots co-doped two-dimensional carbon nanosheets with high lithium ion conductivity

Among several known metal complexes that can coordinate with molybdate (MoO 4 2− ), tungstate (WO 4 2− ), and other metal species, catechol is considered to be an important class of metal complex. Derived from two-dimensional MoO 4 2− –WO 4 2− -polydopamine coordination precursors, under Ar flow atmosphere at 700°C for 2 h, carbon nanosheets with uniformly MoS 2 , WS 2 quantum dots and N co-doped are prepared. With the quantum dot and heterojunction effect of MoS 2 and WS 2 , the synthesized MoS 2 –WS 2 –N–C shows excellent lithium ion storage and high power conductivity. Graphical Abstract MoS 2 -WS 2 quantum dots-heterojunction co-doped carbon nanosheets are synthesized by utilizing Mo-W-polydooamine hybrid precursors.
