5.We investigated a multispecies outbreak of Enterobacterales harboring the same New-Delhi metallo-β-lactamase-encoding plasmid using both traditional infection prevention and genomic approaches. Our investigation revealed a complex outbreak involving 7 bacterial species, including both bacterial transmission and plasmid transfer events.
