Middle Devonian gold mineralization at the northern margin of the North China craton: Constraints from hydrothermal titanite, garnet, and zircon U-Pb geochronology of the Jinjiazhuang gold deposit

•U-Pb dating returned a Middle Devonian formation age for the Jinjiazhuang gold deposit, North China craton.•Gold mineralization at Jinjiazhuang was synchronous with the emplacement of the Da’nanshan alkaline complex.•Jinjiazhuang can be classified as an alkaline intrusion-related gold deposit.•Other Devonian alkaline complexes along the Fengning-Longhua fault present priority exploration targets.
