A novel allowance evaluation method of blade based on high-precision matching and deviation calculating for 3D points

•Considering complex shape of rabbet in curved complex blade, the inlier correspondences selection (ICS) method constructed based on local geometric features of point cloud of rabbet is used in rough registration.•Another ICS method developed based on curvature and normal vector of points is used in fine registration.•PTPDC algorithm is developed to calculate deviation distance of points and use it as allowance of the points.
