Abstract
•We synthesized monodisperse PMMA microspheres with diacetone on the surface by one-step RAFT-assisted dispersion photopolymerization using P(AAEM-co-mPEGA) as a stabilizer.•Our study provides a new, simple and effective method for preparing surface functional microspheres and internal functional microspheres.
