摘要

•Tensile properties across nozzle-to-piping safe-end were assessed using IIT.•Variations in YS and UTS were found in individual regions.•YS and UTS measured by IIT are in satisfactory agreement with tensile tests.•IIT data showed to be more reliable and superior to hardness results.
