Microfluidic spinning of natural origin microfibers for breast tumor postsurgical treatment

•Microfibers of natural origin were produced by microfluidic spinning technology.•Natural Premna microphylla extract combined with the herbal ingredient curcumin.•Microfibers have excellent drug loading and sustained release properties.•Breast tumor recurrence and metastasis were inhibited in postsurgical treatment.
