Background: There is a rising number of liver transplants (LT) performed for acute alcoholic hepatitis. This is partly due to transplant centers removing the 6-month alcohol abstinence prerequisite for LT. We aim to investigate demographic disparities among LT recipients with acute alcoholic hepatitis and their impact on graft and patient outcomes.
