New Glycoside of Quercetin from the Genus Prunella

study of phenolic compounds from four species of the genus Prunella ( P. grandiflora , P. laciniata , P. vulgaris , and P. vulgaris subsp. asiatica ) led to the isolation of 18 compounds, including the new flavonoid 1 . UV and NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometric data established that 1 was quercetin 3- O -(4′′- O - β -Dxylopyranosyl-6′′- O - α -L-rhamnopyranosyl)- β -D-glycopyranoside.
