The effect of Fe on the oxidation, sulfidation and carburization behaviors of alloys in CO2 containing SO2 at 1000 & DEG;C was investigated using multiple evaluation methods, including first-principles, molecular dynamics simulation, high-temperature corrosion experiment and thermodynamic analysis. The adsorption capacity of both gas molecules on FeCr alloy surface was stronger than that on NiCr alloy surface. The molar content of O, C and S atoms in Fe-25Ni-22Cr alloy was higher than that in Ni-25Fe-22Cr alloy. The increase of Fe content promoted the reactions between alloy elements and O, C, S atoms, which caused serious corrosion of Fe-Ni-Cr alloys.
