摘要
A 100 W broadband reconfigurable power amplifier (PA) with a frequency range spanning more than two octaves is the subject of a study. A better approach to broadband matching network (MN) is proposed based on the existing broadband matching structure, making use of the fact that matching parts have various resonance points at various frequencies. To increase the working bandwidth of the circuit, a switch is specifically added to the MN to allow it to switch frequency bands. The results of the experimental tests indicate that the gain is 13.1–16.5 dB in the 200–870 M range, the drain efficiency is 50%–66%, and the output power ranges from 50 to 51.9 dBm. Furthermore, the circuit’s test results for the wide band code division multiple access (W-CDMA) signal demonstrate that the adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) value for the entire bandwidth is less than −42 dBc at 45 dBm output power.
