Abstract
•Reduced graphene hybrid Burkholderia vietnamiensis C09V (RGO-B.V. C09V) was synthesised.•RGO-B.V. C09V removed 100% of Sb(III) and 90% of Sb(V) from aqueous solution.•Electron shuttle and carrier effects induced by RGO enhanced Sb removal.•RGO-B.V. C09V removed Sb from mine wastewater with a 96% removal efficiency.
