Facing complexity derived from digital transformation of public administration.

Digital public administration is one of the newest trends in technological reform at the local level. This paper analyses the level reached by digitization within public administrations in Romania. The obstacles encountered during the attempt to introduce this policy are analysed, as also the effect it had on administrative staff and citizens. Starting from the conclusions obtained, explanations are provided and the connections between the changes that occurred within public institutions and the impact of digitalization are revealed.
