A Joint Offload and Deployment Optimization Solution for Aerial Platform Computing.

The space-ground integrated communication system for 6G needs comprehensive capabilities, including communication capabilities and computing capabilities. In the space-ground integrated network, collaborative computing and resource sharing are performed between airborne communication nodes through wireless links. In this scenario, new deployment strategies are needed to fully utilize the computing power of space nodes and improve the quality of service and efficiency. This paper firstly analyzes the necessity of space-ground integrated communication system development and the key technical challenges of networking, and introduces the issue this paper wants to address, the state of the art of existing work, and the contribution of this paper. Secondly, we describe the space-ground integrated 6G computing architecture, discuss the system model in detail, including communication model, computation model and energy model. Finally, we focus on the joint optimization of computation offloading and the location of airborne platforms deployed in a multi-user scenario, and introduce the FedDCO algorithm in detail. Results of simulation show that the FedDCO algorithm is effective in improving the model convergence speed and solve the deployment and computational offloading problems of aerial platforms.
