摘要
Chronic non-communicable diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide, among which cardiovascular diseases have the highest mortality. Hypertension is a major risk factor of cardiovascular diseases, which is usually asymptomatic until complications occur. There is a strong relationship between hypertension and the kidney, since hypertension is both, a major risk factor for the onset and progression of kidney diseases as well as a complication of kidney diseases.
