摘要
•∼1.4 Ga granites with juvenile signature in Liaoyuan Accretionary Belt (LAB) is firstly reported in this study.•The granites are classified as A-type, which formed under an extensional tectonic setting related with breakoff or roll back of the subducted oceanic slab.•The microcontinents along the southern CAOB might compose a ∼1.4 Ga juvenile continental terrane in the margin of the Columbia supercontinent, showing affinity to the coherent Laurentia-Baltica land mass during Mesoproterozoic.
