摘要
Corrigendum on: Pommier A, Driscoll PE, Fei Y and Walter MJ (2022), Investigating metallic cores using experiments on the physical properties of liquid iron alloys. Front. Earth Sci. 10:956971.doi: 10.3389/feart.2022.956971.In the published article, there was an error in the legend for Figure 2 as published. A small mistake in the figure caption is causing a lot of confusion to understand the figure. Correcting it only consists of replacing the words "blue" by "orange".The corrected legend appears below. Margot et al., 2018 (Mercury). Mars mean core density from Yoshizaki and McDonough, 2020 (YM20) and Stähler et al., 2021 (S21) is also shown. Seismic velocities are from Stähler et al., 2021, Khan et al., 2018(Mars), Weber et al., 2011, Garcia et al., 2011, and Antonangeli et al., 2015 (Moon). For each terrestrial body, CMB refers to core-mantle boundary. The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated. apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope this mistake can be corrected.
