The growing concern about the environmental consequences of anthropogenic CO2 emissions significantly stimulated the research of low-cost, efficient, and recyclable solid adsorbents of CO2 capture. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are a promising porous material for CO2 adsorption. Hybrid materials consisting in copper benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate (Cu-BTC) and Cu doped graphitic-carbon nitride (Cu-g-C3N4) were prepared through solvothermal method as CO2 adsorbent.
