Local and semilocal convergence for Kurchatov method under ω -continuity conditions

In this paper, we study the local and semilocal convergence analysis of two step Kurchatov method by using recurrence relations with first order divided difference operators satisfies the ω -continuity condition. Larger radii of convergence balls are provided as compared to some earlier studies. The results are tested on numerical examples for nonlinear system of equations and nonlinear Hammerstein type integral equations. The proposed method provides better results than other methods using similar information.
