Abstract
The digitization of mechanical engineering is considered. The current state of digitization is characterized, taking account of production and product sales. A system of indices is proposed for assessing the utilization of digitization tools. Their introduction is most advanced in sectors such as the nuclear, aerospace, and auto industries.
