The implementation and improvement of production recovery methods in mature fields can be considered one of the most effective ways to achieve greater independence and longer productivity of a well or oilfield. The objective of this work is to evaluate the injection of miscible CO2 as an advanced method of oil recovery (EOR) in a synthetic case study for a Brazilian pre-salt field. Using total fluid drilling data and the CMRT model, the study was conducted using a time interval from 2016 to 2024. Data such as the volume of control of the reservoir was used to model the injector well representing the total injection. Subsequently, the model is corrected by Koval's method, and the fluids obtained for the period 2025 to 2036 are estimated. Finally, a comparison was made between the production of the two scenarios and the results, for this period, with the CO2 injection model showed an incremental oil production of 3865,543 BO in relation to the water injection scenario.
