A 19x19 Screen Printed Flexible Membrane Reflectarray Based on 1-Bit Metasurface

摘要
In this paper, a screen printed flexible reflectarray with center frequency of 10 GHz is proposed. The 1 bit reflection element, which consists of an air layer and a single-layer flexible membrane, is able to achieve 180 degrees +/- 15 degrees phase difference from 6 GHz to 11.2 GHz. A 19x19 reflectarray is simulated, fabricated and tested. The measured results indicate that the proposed antenna has the 3 dB gain bandwidth of 28.6 % from 9 GHz to 12 GHz with the maximum gain of 20.2 dBi. Compared with the traditional PCB reflectarrays, the proposed antenna has the advantages of light, flexible, expandable, and low cost.
