Optimal Distributed Cooperative Control Strategy for Frequency Restoration in AC Microgrid under Malicious Attacks

Abstract
Energy and information flow are deeply integrated in AC microgrid cyber-physical systems. Therefore, the risk of the communication layer, such as malicious attacks, will be transmitted to the physical layer, disrupting the regular operation of microgrids. To this end, this paper proposes an optimal distributed cooperative strategy for the frequency restoration of AC microgrids. The strategy is implemented in a fully distributed form while considering the balance between distributed generators. It is shown that the proposed control strategy can achieve frequency restoration of microgrids event under malicious attacks and hence the security of system is greatly improved. Finally, the effectiveness of the strategy is verified by simulation experiments.
