Abstract
In the fault location device, the traveling wave current and power frequency current usually need to be measured by two Rogowski coil current sensors, which leads to an increase in the volume and cost of the device, in this paper, a Rogowski coil is used to make it work in the full differential state, and then the different frequency bands are integrated to output two signal frequency bands that meet power frequency current measurement and traveling wave current measurement respectively, so as to achieve the purpose of measuring the two currents simultaneously by using only one Rogowski coil. Firstly, a simulation model is built to verify the feasibility to simultaneously measure the two currents. Secondly, the sensor is developed by selecting the corresponding Rogowski coil and designing its integration module. Finally, the experiment proves that the sensor can meet the measurement of power frequency current and traveling wave current simultaneously.
