Reduction of the reaching time with adaptive slope sliding mode control

摘要
In this article, a method based on sliding mode control, named adaptive slope sliding mode control is proposed to increase the response speed of the system outputs. In this method, the difference between the surface and the state is maintained at its minimum value by constantly changing the slope of the surface, making the states converge faster. Compared to fixed slope methods, it can be said that by changing the slope of the system, not only the response speed of the system is increased, but also the output accuracy increases as well. To evaluate the effects of adding a variable slope to sliding mode controllers, the proposed controller is applied to the grid synchronization of a wind turbine system.
