摘要
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has demonstrated comparable or superior outcomes to surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) in the treatment of aortic stenosis across all risk groups. Patients with a history of kidney transplant (KT) commonly have a history of long-term hemodialysis, which is known to accelerate pathophysiologic processes associated with aortic stenosis. 1 Straumann E Meyer B Misteli M Blumberg A Jenzer HR. Aortic and mitral valve disease in patients with end stage renal failure on long-term haemodialysis.
