《脾胃论》日:"内伤脾胃,百病由生".饮食物是人体生命活动的物质基础,早在李东垣时代人们已经认识到脾胃对机体功能的影响,疾病发生、发展过程中,饮食物是重要的致病因素.当今经济物质文明高度发展,由于食肥甘厚味、起居无常、劳逸过度、工作精神压力大所造成的脾胃病已较李东垣时期发生了变化,追溯疾病的病因病位,仍需回归脾胃思考.
