The Enhancement of FlexE Network Performance Based on Network Calculus Theory.

Abstract
The Fine Granularity Unit (FGU) refines the granularity of hard slicing from 5 Gbps of Flexible Ethernet (FlexE) to 10 Mbps, which can meet the bearing needs of differentiated service such as small bandwidth, high isolation, and high security in scenarios. Taking the collection and control class data about power service as examples, we first analyze the typical service of FlexE as 10M slicing service, time slot allocation, time slot cross-configuration, and traffic configuration scheme. Then the topology scheme of FlexE slicing network is designed, and the characteristics of different topologies are analyzed. The carrying services of protection paths are studied, and the network performance indexes are tested and analyzed based on the network calculus theory.
