Enhancement of spatial resolution of second-order cumulants ghost imaging via low-pass spatial filter method.

The resolution of traditional ghost imaging (GI) is limited by the point spread function (PSF) of second-order correlation function. In second-order cumulants ghost imaging (SCGI), the resolution is better than that of traditional GI because the narrower PSF. The imaging information of SCGI is the fluctuation information of second-order correlation function. So, we can optimize the information of SCGI by optimizing the information of traditional GI. In this paper, we use a low-pass spatial filter method to improve the imaging information of SCGI. We find that the resolution of SCGI can be further improved by the scheme. The theoretical results above have been verified with our numerical simulations.
