Our comprehensive national surveillance data analysis demonstrated a continuous increase in the incidence of anaerobic bacteremia, particularly in , , and . This may be linked to the increasing number of colorectal cancer cases or advancing methods for species identification and susceptibility testing, requiring cautious interpretation. The discovery of an upsurge in anaerobic bacteremia and potential alterations in susceptibility highlights the necessity for more extensive studies in this field.
