Green liquid chromatographic method for simultaneous determination of metformin, linagliptin and rivaroxaban: Tablet manufacturing and application to in-vitro dissolution studies

•Fixed-dose film coated tablet manufacturing of metformin HCl, linagliptin and rivaroxaban is reported.•HPLC-UV method was developed for film coated tablet and validated following ICH guidelines.•Green profile of developed method was evaluated by AGREE, NEMI and AMVI.•Comparison with existing LC method has been established using Analytical Eco Scale (AES) score.
