摘要
•Modified compounds with composition of Rb0.75Cu0.15Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.6, Rb0.8Mn0.1Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.7 and heterostructure Rb0.9Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.62/SnO2 have been obtained under hydrothermal conditions.•The band gap structure of Rb0.75Cu0.15Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.6, Rb0.8Mn0.1Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.7 and heterostructure Rb0.9Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.62/SnO2 has been studied.•Photocatalytic activity of Rb0.75Cu0.15Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.6, Rb0.8Mn0.1Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.7 and heterostructure Rb0.9Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.62/SnO2 have been investigated.•The possible pathway of methylene blue photocatalytic decomposition has been proposed for high-effective visible light photocatalyst Rb0.9Nb1.625Mo0.375O5.62/SnO2.
