Raveling out the effect of Pr3+ ions substitution on different properties of nano-sized hexagonal ferrites

摘要
•A series of T-hexaferrites was prepared by Sol-Gel auto combustion method.•The XRD analysis confirmed the hexagonal structure for all samples.•The particle size varied in the range of 14–44 nm.•The magnetic properties enhanced with the Pr-substitution.•The dielectric properties changes with the increase of Pr3+ contents.•The band gap of the samples decreased with Pr-additives.
