摘要
•In this collaborative descriptive study of 62 infants with long gap esophageal atresia, delayed primary repair with or without traction was the preferred approach.•Outcomes were comparable between strategies which resulted in a high rate of esophageal preservation.•This study highlights a critical need for a prospective, multi-institutional registry with uniform care pathways to develop evidence-based guidelines for these challenging patients.
