摘要

•Gold nanoparticles synthesized from marine red algae Halymenia venusta.•Characterization of gold nanoparticle was performed using UV vis spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD and SEM.•Free radical scavenging activity was analysed using gold nanoparticle.•This investigation focused on non-toxic drug delivery for lung cancer.•H. venusta synthesized AuNPs control the lung cancer cells multiplication.
