Petrogenesis and geodynamic environment of the Recent pyroclastic deposits from Baïgom and Petpenoun volcanoes of the Noun Plain, Cameroon Volcanic Line, Central Africa

•Mineralogical assemblages of olivine and clinopyroxenes phenocrysts in scoria.•Clinopyroxene-thermometry provides temperatures of 1188–1267 ℃.•The parental magmas probably originated from partial melting at a depth >80 km.•Two distinct origins for Recent pyroclastic samples from Baïgom and Petpenoun.
