Inhibition of lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1) prevented tumor growth and metastasis by downregulating PD-L1 expression in lung adenocarcinoma

Lysine-specific demethylase 1(LSD1),as a histone lysine demethylase,demethylates monomethyl and dimethyl of histone H3 on lysine 4(H3K4)and lysine 9(H3K9).Studies have reported that high LSD1 expression promotes cell proliferation,migration,and invasion by regulating chro-matin morphology and gene expression,and is closely related to the development of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).1 However,the underlying mechanism of LSD1 on cell proliferation and migration remains unclear.
