摘要

•A cellulose-based polyimine vitrimer (Cel-PI) with excellent thermoforming performance was developed.•Cel-PI exhibits high mechanical properties and heat-induced re-healing capability.•Cel-PI shows excellent waterproof capability, organic solvent resistance, and thermal stability.•Cel-PI can be chemically degraded, biodegraded, and recycled.•Cel-PI represents a promising alternative to petroleum-based plastics.
