Abstract
•An entirely lignocellulose-oriented chemomechanical pretreatment (CMP) was developed.•CMP enabled the maximization of all lignocellulose constituents’ output.•CMP generated aminated and uncondensed lignin with preserved functionality.•CMP improved the saccharification of carbohydrate stream significantly.•Concomitant configuration exhibited superior and more feasible conversion.
